Dutch Championship – Results 0 (0)

Enno Kramer NED26 needed two crews this year to become Dutch Champion this year.. …
Because Ard could not sail on Friday, Hein Dijksterhuis, his crew which he won the Worlds in 1994, replaced him.
After 3 wonderful days with wind from all directions and varying in strength between 8 – 24 knots, the NED26 was yet again the best. The NED15 of Albert van Vianen and Bas Wulffers saw themselves after working hard at their boat and pushing themselves on the water, second overall with on their mirror the AHO3 of good old Henri and Rob. With a participation of 26 boats from 5 countries and superb socials, together with the nice sunny conditions, we can look back at a succesful Dutch Open 2015. Bad luck for Tony Lyall, who broke on Thursday his arm during the unloading of his boat and so could not participate. We wish Tony strength and get well soon.
Here are the complete results.

New Regatta Series – FD Thermik Cup 0 (0)

The new Regatta series on the north side of the Alps.
In the heat of the day in midsummer when the temperature rises in Bavaria’s pre-alpine lands and one experiences nothing other than screaming masses of bathers around the region’s lakes, then it’s time to load the FD onto its trailer and to drive into the mountains. Not only on the southern side of the Alps are outstanding lakes with outstanding thermals to be found that provide ever better sailing conditions with increasingly improving weather. The north side of the Alps also fulfils all one’s needs: Above all the Tyrol region’s Achensee which, with its Karwendel Cup, has established itself as a large permanent fixture in the international FD regatta calendar.
