Youngster team in Sydney 0 (0)

As you may remember the IFDCO supported a young team to participate the Worlds in Sydney by financing travell und transport expenses. This team was GER 2 Max Jambor und Kevin Günther from Germany, who just finished their first year in the FD. They finished 18th! North Sea Regatta 2015 (NED) 0 (0)

General Committee IFDCO 0 (0)

During the Worlds at Sydney new members of the General Committee of the IFDCO have been elected: Tony Lyall as the new President, Peter van Koppen as Treasurer and myself Marc Strittmatter as VP-Communication. Jan Lechler, who’s term also ended, has continued his job as VP-Championship.
Many, many thanks to Alberto Barenghi, Fred Schaaf and specially Ronald Stalman, from whom I am taking over.
This is only a frist and brief thank you for their great work they did for all of us! You will read more in the next Flying Bulletin, which will be published this spring. You will also be able to read more about Tony, Peter and myself: Where we come from and what our passion for FD sailing drives.

After 7 races sailed the HUN70, with only wins, take the crown. NED 26 looks to be in a save 2nd spot. But 3rd placed GER88 is still closely followed by AUS7 and GER113. Follow the latest developments on the 2015 Worlds-website and Facebook.

Six races sailed by now so we have a valid Championship. Race 5 and 6 won by HUN70, looks they are going to be the 2015 World Champions. Go to the 2015 Sydney Worlds website to update yourself on what is happening over there.
