Flying Dutchman Class Rules – from 1st March 2026
The Flying Dutchman is a strict one-design class, and all boats racing under FD rules must comply with the official Class Rules and Measurement Regulations. These rules define hull, rig, equipment, and measurement requirements, ensuring fair and equal competition worldwide.
To avoid confusion and to ensure that sailors always refer to the most up-to-date documents, the Flying Dutchman class rules are maintained centrally by World Sailing.
