Here are some updates about major regattas: The Notice of race for Altea, first Eurocup of this season is now online, the Australian National Championship has been moved to the Easter weekend and will be held at Bontany Bay close to Sydney, the online entry of the Trapezregatta in Steinhude is now online, too. Last year 70 (!!!) FDs have entered this regatta. The Warnemünde week for FDs has been moved to the first half of the week. According to Dirk Bogumil this is the better half of the event. And finally less pleasing news from Torbole:
The event has been cut down from 4 to 3 days with a entry fee of 180 Euro (!) which has to paid until July 31st. Later entries have to pay 230 Euro. We, the national sectretaries of the Austrian FD Class, the Dutch FD Class, the German FD Class and myself as VP Communications have addressed an open letter to the Circolo Vela Torbole, that we consider this to be a remarkable and negative development. This letter will be published on the German website sailfd.de, soon.
