With the International German Championship currently taking place in Leipzig with 50 boats at the starting line the European Season is coming to an end after 6 National Championships with 6 weeks. Congratulations to CZE 11 Petr Storch und Tomas Palkovsky winning the Polish Championship at the end of August, to HUN 70 Szabolcs Majthényi and András Domokos winning both the Hungarian and the Italian Championship, to CZE 21 Jiri Hruby and Roman Houdek becoming Czech-Champion and NED 26 Enno Kramer with Ard Geelkerken Dutch Champion and finally AUT 38 Christoph Aichholzer and Philipp Zingerle winning the Austrian Championship. Though there have been almost too many international regattas in a very short period of time all championships had good numbers of international competitors on the starting line. See all results in the 2016 regatta calendar and read more reports in the next bulletin which will be published very soon.
