Dear Sailors,
welcome to the FD World Championship 2026 in Kiel. We are looking forward to seeing FD teams from around the world on the starting line and to a great week of racing.
To help you prepare for your arrival, please find the most important information below.
Arrival
Access to the Olympic Harbour Kiel-Schilksee will be available from Saturday, 1300 hrs. onwards.
Due to the opening of the Olympic races of Kieler Woche 2026 the access to the venue will be closed to all external vehicles from 1200-1300 hrs. Please keep this in mind when planning your arrival.
After arriving on the venue we kindly ask all FD competitors to avoid interfering with race operations and other competitors due their launching process.
Registration
Information regarding registration and check-in can be found in the official event documents.
To help make the process as efficient as possible, please ensure that:
- your crew information in Manage2Sail is up to date,
- your sail number is entered correctly,
- your entry fee has been paid,
- all required forms and declarations are completed before arrival.

Event Merchandise
This year, instead of an official event shirt, competitors will receive a practical championship give-away.
If you would still like a championship shirt, you can purchase one at the Helly Hansen shop on the event site. FD World Championship competitors will receive a
20% discount, and the event logo can be added free of charge.
Trailer Parking
If you would like to keep your trailer within the event area, trailer parking is available at a rate of €12 per day.
